Bolor, a counsellor and coach, originally from Mongolia, supporting corporates, children from the age of 10, couples and individuals all over the world.
My journey
I am a certified coach and have a Master’s degree in Counselling from Monash University, Australia. I am a native Mongolian speaker fluent in English, French and Russian.
Originally from Mongolia, I went to pursue a Master’s degree in business and management in the United Kingdom. Over the past twenty years, I have lived in London, Geneva, and now in Singapore, raising three third-culture kids in an inter-cultural marriage.
My life has been all about the challenges of adapting to change, adjusting to different cultures and dealing with challenges of expat life. As a teenager, I lived through a political regime change in Mongolia, which brought chaos and collapse of the education system and caused angst and uncertainty about my future. I can hence deeply empathises with teenagers and young people who are experiencing significant upheavals and challenges in their lives. I strongly believe that by addressing these experiences positively they can become more resilient and prepared for future challenges.
As a counsellor, I have a humanistic, experiential, and emotion-focused approach to therapy. I believe that my empathic presence and ability to relate to my client in a way that makes them feel understood, accepted and genuinely cared for is key to a successful therapy. It is so important to explore emotional experience, especially when emotions are repressed and cause problems, I am here to do that with you.
I tailor therapy to each client and aim to support individuals, couples, children and adolescents to make positive changes in live that alleviate pain and facilitate personal growth.
